The Connected, Liveable London Committee seeks to provide thought leadership and positively influence stakeholders on the need for more connected and coordinated planning and transport systems necessary for the future development of London. Its work includes pressing for London’s development as a leading world city in sustainable transport and planning.
The group brings together professionals from the construction, property and transport sectors to enable networking and collaborations.
About our Connected Liveable London Events
We run a dedicated programme of events for professionals from the Property & Construction and Infrastructure & Transport industries. From panel discussions and Q&As with industry leaders to peer-to-peer networking and private lunches. Previous guest speakers have included senior representatives from TfL, Lumo and Soho Estates

Have your say on ULEZ
Transport for London (TfL) has launched its consultation on the proposed widening of the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone to cover 96% of Greater London from August 2023. We are very keen to hear from members on their views about the ULEZ expansion and the future of road user charging in the capital. IBPC respond to the GLA’s Planning for London programme consultation, outlining some of the key areas that the Chamber feels should be a focus in the next London Plan. The response was written in collaboration with members from LCCI’s Connected, Liveable London Committee.

The committee, chaired by Natalie Chapman of Logistics UK, seeks to influence stakeholders on the need for more connected and coordinated planning and transport systems. The workstream for 2022 includes preparing a business owners guide to planning, responding to government consultations, informing members of industry developments and publishing a piece on design and placemaking.
