Building a Progressive Pakistan: Ideas, Policy and Action 
The International Lawyers Club UK (ILCUK), in collaboration with IBPC, was honoured to host a thought-provoking seminar to commemorate the 79th Independence (Azadi) Month of Pakistan.
We were privileged to welcome Lt. Gen. Abdul Qayyum, HI(M) (Retd.) as our Guest of Honour, whose insightful address inspired meaningful discussions on Pakistan’s future, national development, and the shared responsibility of overseas Pakistanis in contributing to the country’s progress.
The seminar brought together lawyers, professionals, business leaders, and members of the community in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue and mutual respect. It was encouraging to see participants exchange ideas, reflect on the challenges facing Pakistan, and explore practical ways to build a stronger, more prosperous nation.
The evening concluded with a networking dinner, providing an opportunity to strengthen professional relationships and continue the conversations in a warm and friendly setting.
