Body: On 31 July 2025, Chairman IBPC Rizwan Sulehria attended a high‑level meeting at the Pakistan High Commission UK with High Commissioner Dr. Faisal to discuss the Indus Water Treaty and the pivotal role of the legal community in navigating its complexities. Deliberations covered treaty obligations, dispute‑resolution mechanisms under international law, and coordinated advocacy to safeguard Pakistan’s water security and regional stability. Acknowledgment was extended to President SCB, Mian Rauf Atta; Chairman, International Lawyers Club UK, Imran Panaawala (Solicitor); President, UK‑Pakistan Trade & Investment Board (UPTIB), Khalil Choudhary; and Councillor and Solicitor, Muazzam Ali Sandhu, for their valuable contributions. The participants agreed to advance collaborative efforts through structured legal research, policy briefings, and stakeholder outreach, with follow‑up sessions planned to monitor progress and define a joint action plan.
